  2. Apart from anything else he's way too old for Bond… Fleming envisaged Bond as perpetually 33 and Idris is already more than fifteen years too old. He's looking a bit grizzled when you see him without makeup. I'd watch Idris in an action spy movie anyday, but he's not right for Bond. And neither is that guy from Bridgerton.
