  4. The London School of Economics were responsible for a "study", often cited by the pro-immigration lobby, that "proved" (ha bloody ha) that "Immigration was a financial benefit to the country". The study has since been discredited. Only Immigration of highly skilled people is a financial benefit and even then, the "financial benefit" tends to only benefit the rich, and business, while ordinary people see little or no benefit whatsoever, while being massively disproportionately affected by all of the negative aspects of Immigration such as increased housing costs, overcrowding, depressed wages, increased class sizes in schools, difficulties accessing healthcare, etc., etc., etc. I wouldn't trust anything that the LSE comes out with, EVER. They tend to say whatever their sponsors in big business want them to say.
