This is a true story. I work at a University in the south of England, and part of my work involves me supervising the use of a very expensive piece of research equipment. When I say "expensive", you could literally buy a new Aston Martin or Rolls Royce for what it cost. Anyway, one of our lecturers arranged with our Public Relations department to use this equipment in a photo-shoot to contribute images for publicity materials such as leaflets, etc. He had asked some of his students to be models in this shoot, to come and pretend to be using the system. He and I were setting up this system for the shoot, and standing right next to me, he phoned the PR dept. to say we were ready. "We're all set up. You can bring the cameras. The students are on their way now. (pause) Oh yes, they are diverse." A PR person and a photographer arrived and set up, then the students arrived... Despite this learned man saying "they are diverse", all three of them were young women of indian heritage... This makes a mockery of "diversity" and goes to show that the meme, ""Diversity" is just code for anti-white" is true. The meaning if the word "diverse" has changed for many people. It's being noticed more and more amongst Uni staff that EM people are massively overrepresented in university TV ads, advertising material, leaflets, posters, etc. It's also widely talked about that statistics show that working class white boys are the group least likely to get a university education now, and nobody, absolutely NOBODY is prepared to even discuss it. We are being marginalised and demeaned by "the establishment" at every opportunity. It's sickening.
