They used to say "1mm1grants pay more in tax than they take out in benefits!" and "The taxes 1mm1grants pay will pay your pensions!" but if either of those statements were true, our standard of living wouldn't be nosediving, and they wouldn't be having to push the retirement age back all the time, would they? @jon b Rishi is not "our boy" though, is he? That's the whole point of Simon's video, the cabinet is riddled with people who are not "our boys", and as they are not ours, how can we expect them to do what's best for us? Priti Patel is another example. This isn't racist, it's simply a fact that these people, being from different nations simply cannot understand or care for the nation in the same way that someone of British heritage would.

@jon b That's debatable. I could argue that only people of the ethnicities you mention can be really "British". People like Rishi are just British citizens in my book.
