  1. ​ @joelc9439 It works, by what metric? Source? And, how are you defining "diversity", anyway? A diversity of highly intelligent, honest, motivated people from similar stock might be a good thing, but a diversity of less intelligent people, less honest people with a grudge against the host nation, not so good.

  2. Some diversity is great. For instance, I remember reading about committees in the enormous BMW factory in Germany, these committees woukd be comprised of a diverse range of employees, factory floor workers, managers, engineers, designers and even executives and board members. The result was a cohesive workforce where the views of people at all levels could be aired. Industrial disputes reduced, working practices became more efficient and the company as a whole benefited. However, some other kinds of diversity are not so good. Like many other things, diversity can be good in moderation, it ispossible to have too much of a good thing, and, we as a nation have had far, far too much of it for decades.
