  5. @GreenMachine-u3n  I sometimes advise people on poor spelling, grammar, etc., but being snide about it and trying to score points is pathetic, given the parlous state of state education. You're victim blaming. A couple of small spelling mistakes do not negate the point the OP was making.

  10. The government is considering funding the BBC from general taxation because the license fee is becoming untenable. I've written to my MP, saying that people who object to the BBC's biases must have the option of refusing to pay for it, unfortunately, my letter was ignored.
