  2. Yet this isn't "cultural appropriation" somehow. It's funny how it's not OK for huwhite people to appropriate other people's culture, but it's fine for other people to just grab ours wholesale and in doing so exclude us from our own culture, isn't it? We'd never see a white actor portraying a hero figure from another race's culture or mythology now but it's OK for king Arthur, David Copperfield, Hans Christian Andersen's "Little mermaid", Lewis Carroll's Alice and Barrie's Peter Pan to be portrayed by non-white actors. The dual standards become more obvious by the day.

  3.  @apflewis  yes, in stark contrast to the Jo Cox case. Her killer had a documented history of mental health problems and had sought help for his condition in the days prior to the attack, only to be turned away by uncaring uncaring mental health workers, yet the media ignore that and trumpet him as a far-right terrorist on flimsy evidence. Go figure, as they say.

  13.  @richardwebb9532  I said population density, not population. Colonisation brought Africa many benefits such as agriculture, medicine, sanitation, education, all of which allow populations to increase. Africa's population is increasing rapidly, even now.
