Why was one of our warships even there?

@Sir_Gerald_Nosehairs. For them to be chased out of Europe we would need European governments that are not captured by people that hate us.

Some high-up in the Israeli government has been publicly saying that he wants the Gazans to emigrate to Europe and the west.... Why would he say that?

@evaflowervines9520 Well said! I saw on the news the other day that British-heritage birth rates are lower than ever. :( Seems like their plans are working.

Well said. If the EU had really stood up for Europe's interests, IE the interests of the peoples of Europe rather than facilitating mas. imm. and globalism, they could have come together to blockade the Med and policed the red sea straits together to Europe's benefit.

Yes, for many nations, so why is it just us putting warships into the area?

Have they been cancelled for some reason? I did a search but didn't see anything relevant.

Exactly!

@MadnessMotorcycle You need to read a few history books. America has consistently worked against British interests since before WW2. America kept out of the war just long enough to ensure that Britain would be bankrupt after the war, then joined the fight. Germany never wanted a war with Britain, Britain joined the war and escalated it thanks to the interests of the usual suspects, who own the US too. I'd rather be speaking German than have what is being done to us now happening, as it is happening in the US too.

@MadnessMotorcycle How many have you had? Plenty, it seems.

Are we the only nation that uses these shipping lanes, then? If everyone's affected, who's going to lend a hand?
1
@potnoodle57I hope so!

Yes, we're told that there are international accords, treaties, agreements and compacts that we have to abide by on certain matters, but when it comes to matters like this, it's just us and the yanks, as usual. It's funny how various other nations don't chip in, despite it being in everyone's interests. If the EU had coordinated efforts to police the Med to prevent the efforts of the traffickers we might not have had Brexit, and a combined European force could police the Red Sea Straits now, but it seems that these various treaties etc. are only applied when they are against our interests.

If we import less, it might be a good thing in the long run.
