@NOT SURE Human sacrifice was also permitted on the Shiva temples, and mass-murdering gangs of thugs, the "Thuggee Cult" roamed to countryside murdering large numbers of people... So I guess the use of the word "savage" was apt. The British ended human sacrifice and also stopped the thugs too.

@Mathew Blyth You need to read some actual history books instead of watching shite like that "Gallipoli" movie. It's a lie that the British regarded Aussies as cannon fodder. Brits and Aussies should be like brothers together. "A lot" is two separate words, by the way.
