  1. They do apply the law partially. A week or two after lockdown started a huge demonstration took place in London, because of some turmoil in an African country. The demonstrators did not observe social distancing, wear masks, and had come from all over London, yet police who had been hassling wht people for going for walks in the countryside, visiting public parks or buying goods that were not deemed necessary took no action against them whatsoever.
