We've had an Auris, and now have a new Corolla, both surprisingly good, even excellent cars, your comment about the falsetto horn rings true though, the horn is a high pitched, reedy, weedy sound and one of the worst things about the car, which I suppose speaks volumes about the generally high standard. If a weedy horn is one of the worst things about the car it must be pretty good on the whole. The hybrid with CVT transmission is very, very nice to drive indeed, especially in the 2.0 version.
