  1. So Ben thinks we should literally be living in a Brave New World.... Has he not heard of conditioning or nurture, does he not understand that specific circumstances in childhood, and while the brain is forming in infancy and toddle stages, contribute vastly to an individuals learning and perceived intelligence? Of course he would never admit that perhaps a rich kid would just plain have more opportunity and a more conducive learning environment (and better teachers) than a poor kid who gets moved around constantly and has to worry about finding their next meal.
