@iamcosma7065 Ages ago it used to be that employers would treat employees like family and pay fairly, now they treat them as expendable garbage and pay the bare minimum while earning 3,000x more than the median salary they pay. Of course that's the goal of capitalism and the nobility, hence why it's a problem. Just look at Hershey and Cargil. They literally use human children for slave labor and nobody (supreme court) cares because they only use foreign slaves.

@bradwhitt6768 Japan disagrees. Wages have not skyrocketed even though birth rates have plummeted for decades. Tax cuts also don't work as we've seen with Trump. Ceo's just take more profits. Also, paying zero (or 1%) taxes would bankrupt the country and all social services would collapse, no more food subsidies, roads, bridges, hospitals would collapse while others would just charge more to rake in profits. No more ambulance, firefighter, police, legislatures, etc. You're literally more ignorant/disingenuous than Tucker Carlson.

@judedesaubin9956 Every day there is less competition, more corporate consolidation of power and less bargaining power for job seekers. Just look at retain stores. Basically every store is owned by a larger corporate entity that owns dozens or hundreds of brands and there is no such thing as a mom and pop shop or an independent business, they just can't survive against corporate tyranny. Just read about how Amazon bullies and destroys it's competition.

@iamcosma7065 To keep order and the status quo. If all jobs only paid minimum wage there would instantly be another revolution and the nobility know that it would not end well for them. So they do the bare minimum to avoid that outcome. They pay people like tucker Carlson to try to convince us that serfdom is preferable to a free and fair society that actually takes care of it's population. Convincing somebody to fight against their own rights is way more effective than forcing them against their will.

Back to the feudal system then, I suppose you must be a wealthy CEO?
