  1. The biggest crime is their theft of their employees paychecks! Employer theft outweighs all other theft by over 2-1. And I'd love to see a study comparing shoplifting to the amount of money grocery stores steal from customers by their computers ringing everything up wrong and conveniently always "forgetting" that discount that was clearly labeled in the aisle but is now not scanning correctly. I notice this happening at least once or twice every time I grocery shop. I can only imagine how much I'm actually getting screwed and just not catching it, not to mention the times I just give up because it's not worth the effort of leaving my stuff at the checkout to run all the way to the other side of the store to take a picture of the actual price to come back and have someone fix it if there is even anyone there to help at all.
