I just read an article today about AI being used in many eligibility programs for many states, such as to determine eligibility for unemployment, SNAP, medicaid, etc. And also for determining which cases are fraudulent and even having the same AI review/deny the appeals! This was used for about 10 years to determine Michigan unemployment but was more recently nixed after so many people went bankrupt and even died because of the error rates. All of the AI programs I've read about have only been used for death and destruction. Everyone will be homeless or dead before the oligarchs allow AI to be used to aid humanity.
