  1. It wont help the economy, that's the whole point. They want everyone except the elite to make less money so that companies can't sell stuff and raise their prices. I think we need price caps and/or higher tax on profits instead of more homeless people though. Throwing poor people into the fire is an absolutely monstrous way to "solve" economic problems, which will just be made worse in the long run since every cycle bolsters the elites power.
