  1. There's no such thing as a seasonal home. Unless it somehow gets torn down and rebuilt every year. We need some serious taxes on real estate profits to ward off the speculators and investors that just want to drive up prices for increased profits at the expense of exacerbating a homelessness crisis.

  2. Do you have any idea how few places are rent controlled. All cities have some rent controlled apartments. But these cities have almost none in the overall mix and usually as soon as the tenant is driven out the landlord no longer needs to provide a reasonable rent price.
