  1. More right-wing garbage from Anna I'm assuming. You can't address crime and homelessness without addressing poverty. If people can't afford a house or food they are going to do what they have to to survive. And locking people in torture/slave factories we call US prisons is all about getting free labor for corporations and that sweet government money for the prison industrial complex. No rehabilitation in sight.

  2. The US already literally has a scorched earth policy. We have the largest prison population in the world both in total prison population and per capita.

  3.  @EastSide-qc5oy  If you've ever read anything about the US prison system it is literally not hyperbole. Other countries refuse to extradite their prisoners to the US (like Julian Assange) because our prisons are literally considered illegal torture chambers under their laws. We also have the largest prison population both total and per capita. That's right, the US, total population of 330 million, has MORE people imprisoned than both China and India which have vastly larger populations, both have over 1.4 billion people.
