  1.  @joebeal4212  Using knowledge from the past obtained via unethical means does not mean condoning the methods used! I don't agree with studies done using monkeys or rats but there has still been useful information gleaned from those studies. Whether something in the past was unethical is irrelevant. The constitution was written by slaveholders, does that mean we need to toss the whole document out? Pythagoras was a crazy cult leader, does that mean we can no longer use the Pythagorean theorem?

  3. But a cell culture is not a human. Do you also object to oral swabs because the all the "dead people" (mouth cells) that are experimented on from the swab?
