  1. The whole 1.9 jobs per person thing is bs. Many companies just always keep "job openings" posted as a way to gain leverage over their own employees, even when they aren't actually hiring anyone. And the majority of the jobs that are actually hiring are minimum wage part time jobs.

  2. Why is Powell so afraid to say what he means now all of a sudden? He's been screaming from the rooftops for a year now that he wants to crush jobs and workers. It's not been a secret at all. Of course republicans just want to use this to support cuts for medicare and social security though.
