I was on board with Anna until she said "the progressive left abandoned these men" ... like what? Like the right is taking care of them or something? What is she even talking about? Not having a solution for everything under the sun is not the same thing as abandoning people. Besides if there was any sort of economic opportunity in the US these dudes probably wouldn't feel abandoned in the first place. I feel the same way. I have no economic opportunity to better myself because I don't have a million dollars to go to college and I cannot afford to have insane college loans for the rest of my life. Besides that you gotta be able to pay for life while getting an education which you can't do while going to college either. I think the whole thing is an economic problem, meaning that Anna is wrong and progressives are the only ones that haven't abandoned people.
