Yeah but we only got $3,400 (or was it $4k?) ... that's not really very much money. Corporations actually got the bulk of the money printed, and the business loans and PPP loans as well. Only a very tiny amount of the money printed was actually stimulus checks. I mean, the airlines got $54 billion for stock buybacks and ceo bonuses alone. Businesses raising prices simply cause they know they can make more money should be illegal anyways though, or at least a winfall tax on those extra profits, especially for necessary things like food, rent, medical, drugs, etc.

@coryluke12 Corporation never lower prices. Oil is pretty much the only thing that ever goes down again after it goes up.

Yes, but raising rates to the point of crushing wages and skyrocketing unemployment doesn't help the working class... it actually helps the elite. (And Fed battles inflation as well). I think either way we are screwed cause we don't have any political party to support labor rights unless Bernie somehow got past the Dem moneywall.

Problem is that any job that does not pay enough to survive should not exist. And 40% of all jobs now are shitty jobs, since we shipped all the good jobs overseas.
