Maybe if Christianity wasn't all about torture, oppression, genocide, child slaves, other crimes with children.... then maybe there wouldn't be a bias against it. 🤷‍♂ If they were known for being peaceful, helping the poor and following Jesus's actual teachings they'd surely have a good reputation. Obviously there are different groups under the christian umbrella, some of which are great but in WWII the church (from the Vatican) literally supported Hitler and since then they've passed church hush laws about not talking to police investigating crimes against kids among many other atrocities.
