"The only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy who can arrest a 5 year old." Damn! What an epic ending line.

He's criminalized being a doctor, criminalized being a teacher, and criminalized being a journalist and even blogger now as well..... Our society can only go one direction with these maniacs having any power.

@maliant16 40% of all jobs in the US pay less than $15/hr. I'd say slavery does exist. Just ask anyone who works in a "free trade zone" or an economic processing zone. And in the US we have child labor making a huge comeback with thousands of violations (and laws to make it legal again) found just last year including 12 year olds working overnight shifts at McDonalds without pay and 14 year olds literally getting ground up in meat grinders and squashed by trees at logging companies. Not to mention the immigrant slave farms busted.

These credit agencies should just be made illegal already. Nobody's life should be dictated by a credit score, especially a wrong one.
15
They were running at him backwards apparently.
12
@zenmasterwannabe Okay that makes more sense. Also, doesn't every sports team in the US have a furry at the game to support the team? Imagine Republicans outrage when this lady bans sports mascots.
12
They are bringing back "work will set you free" unironically.
9
Watching the Epstein videos with Trump and then watching Trump say he wants to date his daughter is horrifying.
7
Yeah this is a truly great segment. We need anti-trust action asap, on pretty much everything. Big tech, agriculture, meat, oil, grocery stores, news/media networks, big pharma, basically every industry.
4
@_BenJaminCroft_ Not being prosecuted is FAR different than being justified. As proven by innocent people being sent to jail/prison. Laws don't make something moral or justified otherwise people would be criminals for mowing their lawn on a Tuesday afternoon in some county in Florida.
3
Yep, came to say the same thing.
3
Right! He gets the half that's full and everyone else gets the half that's empty.
3
This isn't just the problem with Boeing, it's all of the US. Pretty much every company on the S&P500 spends more money on stock buybacks than on R&D. Big pharma spends WAY more on buybacks and dividends than R&D. And nobody is ever held responsible when people die due to corporate greed.

I'm all for this but also, at least personally, I would find it terrifying to sit in a room with strangers that are doctors while being filmed tripping balls on acid and being asked about my worst nightmares. I could definitely go for a moderate mdma assisted puppy bath though. Also, minor correction. MDMA is a methamphetamine, however it is significantly different from what's just known as meth.
2
The fact that that sherif thinks that the only two options are to have a non-existent but very expensive flashlight to analyze drugs OR that the cops should just open a giant bag of drugs and snort whatever they find to see what it is..... is concerning.
2
These scams use religious style fervor to pray upon people who are desperate.
2
I'd love to see how Fox defined "reasonable" in their defence of Tucker Carlson in court claiming their "reasonable" viewers watch with a healthy dose of skepticism.
2
We're so f-ed. Americans are so dumb I don't understand how they even get through the day or tie their own shoes.
2
Why would you ever name a student loan servicing company after a Jewish man that cuts the skin off of babies penises? (Mohela - Mohel) Talk about a ripe target for anti-semitic conspiracies.
2
The fact that Thomas thinks $300k isn't "worth it" for a job that only requires him to copy and paste whatever his owners tell him to like once a month and then spend the other 95% of his time on free all expense paid vacations is really telling. Dude is pure evil and his "friends" are all demons from hell. I'd bet anything that if he retired those free trips and "friendships" would suddenly not be as plentiful.
2
Charter/private schools are a scam to siphon taxpayer money to rich kids and shareholders and away from public schools so they can then claim that public schools don't work and leave out the part about how they were defunded into the ground. The right wants to make any and every scam legal.
2
@Arcaryon Ah, yes. Good and bad are just ideas we made up therefore we should be able to commit atrocities without consequence.
2
Republicans are always talking about how lazy and entitled people are in the US. I always thought they were just lying, little did I know they were actually just referring to judges and prosecutors in the "justice" system. Everything about the US is so fucked up it's really hard to have any hope left. US has the largest prison population in the world, per capita too. Prisons are publicly traded stocks that pay dividends too, add that to the nightmare fuel of this segment and try to deny we don't already live in a dystopian hellscape. That poor fucking women, I hope she isn't murdered next month.
2
Right, it wasn't Snowden that did the damage, it was the NSA. Reporting on the damage is not causing the damage just as reporting a murder is not doing a murder.
1
At this point I'm convinced that the American Dream was a con. The Dream was that everybody can be a successful conman. And if you are rich then in America you will always get away with it. And if you don't get away with it then there still are no consequences and you just keep doing it anyways. And this applies to everything from building planes, practicing law, being a doctor, making life saving drugs, being a cop, etc. Everybody else is paying for the conman's lifestyle. Teachers, nurses, factory workers, farmers, etc all supporting the conmen against their will.
1
It's purely a criminal system. No justice involved.
1
Any psychic who tells someone their kid is dead should have to donate their eyes to science. Tell me who you're seeing now you son of a...
1
I've got a couple trees in my backyard if any rich folks wanna pay me a million dollars? I'll even email you a 30% off coupon for $10K! What a bargain.
1
@10:10 WTF is going on with the Dick's eyebrows? He got a bad case of botox? Also what a fucking villain curve they've got goin' on.
1
Time to do more than defund the police. Total abolition and starting over from scratch is the only sensible option at this point.
1
If capitalism actually worked these "dollar" stores would be out of business.
1
Damned if you do damned if you don't! Need 6 degrees and 75 years of experience for a job in a field that has only been created 1 year ago but if you have a single degree you are overqualified.
1
@makko1988 Nobody cares if you feel comfortable. Real life is not lollipops and rainbows. Someone has to teach kids what STD's are and that it's okay if you or your parents are different from other people's. I don't feel comfortable that people like you have a say in our society. Does that mean I should have the right to put you in prison?
1
I hope republicans mistake the trash can for the voting box and trash their own ballots so that we don't end up with the next Hitler Party in charge.
1
These people should all sue google and apple for allowing these scams in their app store. I wonder how many people have downloaded the apps without even being prompted by scam texts?
1
"I don't live extravagantly" ... I just make a crap-ton of money and spend almost all of my time on luxury trips paid for by billionaires. You know, the least extravagant people in the world.
1
So Rachel Ray is literally the cookie monster but with cheese.
1
Sounds like something Trump would do for sure.
1
Elon: "Advertisers are going to kill the company I bought." .... No you are killing the company by telling them to "go fuck yourselves". I think he might actually be so conceited and coddled his whole life that he actually thinks the world is supposed to just give him infinite money all the time for no reason. And the one time that doesn't happen he's just so dumbfounded he doesn't know how to function anymore.
1
If I worked my entire life to buy a house and then some asshole stole it from me for $3.24 I would be doing some very illegal things to that person that would entail me finishing the rest of my life in prison but sleeping happy knowing that the monster that stole my house is now living at the bottom of the world's largest aquarium.
1
You know someone is genuinely evil when they try to paint Snowden as the evil terrorist.
1
Watching Hillary Clinton makes me re-understand why people voted for Trump the first time. She's always got that smug smile while lying through her teeth. It was a hate vote against Clinton, just as Trump lost against Biden because people hate-voted against him. We should have had Bernie. Fuck the DNC.
1
If Last Week Tonight ever needs a replacement/temp host it should be Tay.
1
Isn't capitalism wonderful.... human's ARE the product.... again.... seems we keep ending up here.
1
How can they charge someone for inheriting it?!?! If I didn't sign a contract I'm not paying for it. Why are these companies not sued into oblivion?
1
Is it odd that I was actually more interested in a show about plain rocks than about all this craziness? Guess that's just the point we've reached in society. I'd love to hear about some igneous rock from a million years ago but no.... nazi's have to ruin everything.
1
Don't forget about his extracurricular activities overseeing torture of innocent people at Guantanamo Bay that were never charged with a crime.
1
@22:00 I thought republicans were for tax cuts? I'm confused, now they are against their own policies? Guess just when then help poor people.
1
You left out the whole issue of Iz-Reals mass un-aliving campaign being plastered all over tik tok including by their own military as being a BIG factor as both parties are bought by AIPAC. And also that Trump signed a bill allowing big tech to sell all your data anyways. Facebook already sells your data to china. A tik tok ban would change literally nothing except making Zuckerberg a trillionaire.
1
So apps like GrubHub essentially subsidize peoples food by making poor people pay for it. ie the workers and small business owners who have to pay for the outrageous fees and use their own gas to potentially fulfill an order that might actually cost them money instead of make them money. It's literally the perfect representation of American capitalism.
