  1. "empowering workers through automation"....??? You mean empowering billionaires through automation. Think about Amazon not needing workers anymore, or even just needing far fewer workers! That's a terrifying thought. Just look at the chart comparing wage growth to production growth. I'm all for automation, but it only works in a society like Sweden in which there is a social safety net for people who's jobs have been replaced. The number one reason holding back poor people from starting a business in the US is fear of failure, because if they fail they are basically done. No food, no house, no job. If rich people fail they just take some more money out of their magic funds and start again or the government bails them out (ie. the poor people bail them out).

  2. Granted there are obvious uses for it like reducing repetitive tasks that slow workers down, as long as it's used to help and not hurt the workforce.
