  1. The Nazi's were not socialists. We have a whole word just to describe them. Fascists. The reason the Nazi's were called the National Socialist German Workers Party was in order to astro-turf and propagandize their way into power utilizing the socialist ideals of being pro worker and then pushing the propaganda that it's not actually a class war but a race war that's keeping people poor and causing societies ills. It's not the billionaires oppressing you, it's your neighbor because he's brown and therefore uncultured and uncivilized. In other words, it was a good shoehorn. Obviously you aren't going to win many people over if you call yourself the Evil Torture and Extermination Party. You've gotta create the justification for murder first.
