@Yash Nath this is funny considering that Elon has proven his doubters wrong about everything.... You can never reuse rockets, you can never achieve vertical takeoff, you can never make a tunnel boring machine like that, should I keep going?

Rockets already exist too so he must be bullshitting about that as well? Everything... literally everything is just a concept until you make it happen. The idea of an airplane existed before the Wright brothers. The idea of a train existed before Andrew Carnigie.

@tacomonkey222 We subsidize oil and agriculture to boost the economy how's this any different? You know how much money we give to those companies that are supposed to be "profitable"? If they are so profitable then why do we give them so much money? At least this opens up new possibilities for work, leisure, shipping, etc. Maybe it wont happen in the next 5 years but 15-20 years from now this could revolutionize our economy and way of life.
