Plus the GOP reverses the burden of proof and puts it onto the voter to take time off work to go straighten it out (again, if they even know in the first place).   20. Prolly cause drug and medical companies can charge whatever they want which makes the premium prices skyrocket. Also medigap plans are still private insurance as well so they aren't perfect, just not as insanely criminal in denying necessary care.

  21. This is insane! It's supposed to be illegal to not sell people something that is for sale! Including prescriptions, you can't just refuse to fill those either. If your religion prevents it than you should be fired or never get a job there in the first place. Imagine if I, as someone who does not eat meat, worked at a butcher shop and refused to sell people meat because of my beliefs!!! Of course they would fire me, and rightfully so.

  24. However, the jobs data is a bunch of bs. Republicans are obviously worse but Clinton signed NAFTA and outsourced almost every last good paying job in existence. Now 40% of all jobs in the US pay less than $15/hr and most don't allow their employees to work more than 30 hours out of fear that they will have to provide their employees with benefits like health insurance. This country feel more like the squid games than a meritocracy.

I like how the guy was arguing for zero taxes for corporations but then somehow added "why not impose a minimum corporate tax rate" and then pivoted back to the notion that any taxes are just the government stealing from you to provide no services in return. And I agree that there is a lot of waste and horrible stuff the government uses money for too like the military but that's mostly because of republicans and the corporate dems. And either way we still need roads schools and drinkable water, privatizing those things is always a disaster just like privatizing health care has been.

They think the stock market is the economy so if that went up then we must being doing great. I think that's part of the bankers trick to keep spreading Reaganomics.

First the premiums are mostly paid for by paying your medicare premiums so saying they return 93% to the member is very misleading, some plans have a $0 premium anyway so how do you think they even function? And how do you think they make up the difference if they cover more or the same as medicare but for a cheaper cost and give you money back? They do it by denying care when you need it most like emergency services and inpatient hospital stays, diagnostic tests when you are dying, etc.

With our current greedy dinosaurs in power the younger generations are going to have less and less kids due to the lack of living wage jobs, healthcare, childcare, of course the climate catastrophe, elementary school kids dying more than cops due to mass shootings, and just general corruption to line the pockets of billionaires while looting ours. This will be absolutely devastating to the economy since capitalism relies on infinite growth. Less consumers = less growth (or worse, negative growth) for companies which means the stock market will fall down and possibly our whole society will collapse since there will be no new taxpayers to fund infrastructure, schools, police, etc. I sure as heck will NOT bring a child into this dystopian hellhole of a world. (Maybe if I lived in a civilized country I'd have a different view. idk)

  46. Be careful as the MA plan fail when you need them the most due to the prior authorizations required for hospitalization and other things. And they deny deny deny. I work for one the the plans and I've seen many people have their cancer radiation treatment denied as not medically necessary. Like, what!? There's a good video just put out by MorePerfectUnion on youtube showing a man that died because they denied his care after brain surgery and sent him home with a virus and high fever he contracted at the hospital and they had to call an ambulance again that same day.

  49. Regardless of whether the FED has been politicized or not we can be absolutely sure that the FED's purpose is to enrich bankers and billionaires by crushing American workers. Powell has said as much himself while saying that his actions will not reduce inflation even though he claims to be taking those actions because of inflation.

  52. That's not a medicare advantage plan you are on. It's a retiree plan. You cannot be on a medicare advantage plan without also paying (and being eligible) for original medicare and medicare advantage plans cannot cover others such as spouses or family members. Also with anything in life, not everyone is going to be 100% screwed over all the time, but that doesn't mean that the company/plan is great and that it's not screwing over many other people regularly on purpose.
