  1.  @ttopero  It's really the same argument though. No means no and it's their land they shouldn't be forced to sell it to some billionaire. And you cannot collude to keep your own stuff. This is pure bully/lawfare. It's oligarchy rule.

  2.  @pajeetsingh  They can pump as much water out of the ground (and therefore underground aquifers) as they want without having to pay for it. And those aquifers take tens of thousands of years to refill and are draining quickly.
