@Zero01k But farmers can't fix their own problems if those problems are multinational corporations screwing everyone over and/or corrupting the farm bill aid. Telling everyone else to buzz off is only going to make it worse. (I'm not saying you need to do some specific type of farming like regen. agriculture or whatever, just that you aren't going to fix a problem that is much bigger than farming without cooperation from outside the farming community.) And it doesn't help that the west is entirely running out of water while the Saudis grow massive amounts of alfalfa in and around AZ sucking up what little water we have left and nobody stops them. That's impacting everyone farmer or not when there's not enough water to take a shower.

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think the taxpayer owns it. That's communism lol. I'm pretty sure they said the taxpayers subsidized it to court some company to build the plant there. Like how the Chips and Sciences act gives massive subsidies to chip makers to build plants in the US. Taxpayers don't own the plants, we just pay for 30% or 50% or whatever amount is agreed to to build it or waive taxes on it for 10 years.
