  1. True, but that wouldn't be the renewable sector doing to kilowatt price gouging, it would be the utility companies that are mostly monopolies in their respective areas. I live in MI and there are no options for energy, you only have 1 possible company.

  2. So our entire society is shackled to the whims of billionaire oil execs. Everything runs/depends on oil. Energy to power your phone, computer, lights, transportation of food, production of food... everything. And they can just say "we quadruple price now, you pay me" and republicans still have the gull to say that the free market will fix everything and it's Biden's fault because he tried to spend money on alternative energy sources to diversify our energy sector thereby creating competition and more dependable energy and prices and because he canceled a pipeline that didn't exist and that wouldn't have created anymore oil in the first place because it's a pipe and not production...
