  1. About the tree thing. I read Utah republicans have proposed cutting basically all trees in the state in order to "preserve water" since their water source is obviously like 4 years away from being totally depleted. And they think that is somehow going to help the farmers keep growing insane amounts of water sucking alfalfa grown in the desert for animal feed. They could not be more insane if they tried. They will gladly allow Nestle and the Saudis to pump all the water out of the US for a tiny amount of money.
