I just read an article about these weight loss drugs paralysing people stomachs and now they regret ever hearing about them. And the newest Eli Lilly obesity drug is said to the be most expensive ever and may single-handedly bankrupt Medicare in 10 years. Also, if obesity was genetic then why did obese people barely exist 50 years ago? If it was genetic there would be the same levels of obesity throughout all of history, after all it's pretty easily diagnosable unlike many other diseases. And lastly, we in the US need to join the civilized world and stop letting big pharma set our drug prices at whatever they feel like and always at least 10 times more than everywhere else.
