  2.  @mariusfacktor3597  That's because renting is a waste of money. It's just a way to sap people for all they are worth to enrich bankers. Owning a property that you don't have to pay for every month that appreciates over time is like a night and day difference. Zoning laws are purposely like that so that we are all car dependent thanks to big oil and car lobbying and if we could build multi-family units instead of suburbs where you have to drive everywhere then the bankers wouldn't be able to buy everything up as easily.
