  1. Medicare and Social Security are NOT funded by government debt. They do NOT add to the debt! Why does no media ever push back on that nonsense! They are fully funded and paid for ahead of time by our taxes. Social Security is literally funded decades ahead of time. Even if we cut the programs entirely it will do nothing to address government debt. Zero.
