  1. The reason that nobody had student debt in the 70's is because the government SUBSIDISED it so that it was cheap and some schools were literally free. And now those same people are complaining about someone might get a slight break that's been paying their debt for 20 years and still owes more than they took out because school costs $1.2 million for a bachelor's degree and for anything higher you need to find a fascist billionaire benefactor who is willing to put a collar and leash on you.
