  1. People should have the right to choose. There is definitely some room for nuance and regulation, but anyone with terminal illness or severe mental health issues etc. should be allowed to make their own choice to take the vial of morphine. That also brings up another point. Why do we still use barbaric drugs (that fail regularly) to kill people on death row when we could just give them fentanyl or something?

  2. But the US does already have physician assisted suicide. We just call it the health care system. It's essentially euthanasia for poor people.
