  2. Trump is starting to blame the right for not voting hard enough. He's literally adopting the Democrats least popular strategy of blame the voters.

  3. I don't think this is a mistake for Trump. Nobody who is going to vote for him is going to decide to vote for Kamala because of this. At this point everyone already knows he's a terrible person and the either like him or don't. His supporters will always find an excuse or ignore whatever he does no matter what. He's really got no ground to gain from debating her and this may be a good tactic to stop Kamala from being able to showcase her points/agenda to the world (since a debate would draw so much attention) and distance herself from Biden. But that strategy could also backfire on Trump by not giving Kamala the rope to hang by and therefore allow voters to see her as a fresh start and project their own ideas onto her as if she is a blank slate and as different but not too different.
