@JesseJames-vc2bm You can't just sit at home and collect unemployment. It literally doesn't work that way and the max number of weeks you can even collect is 12 if you are lucky and jump thru all the hoops and prove you are looking for so many jobs/week etc. And do you know how hard it is to get housing assistance?! Literally people wait decades for their help and when they do get housing vouchers they can't find anyplace that will accept them.

Except that nobody will see it as anything but Bidens fault. Right wing media will claim Biden is hurting working people while somehow also claiming these cuts are good for working people and they will all believe it. Anything bad that happens under Biden is essentially going to be blamed on Biden cause people don't pay attention and the media can write whatever narrative they want. Even cnn and msnbc are anti-worker most of the time. And dems never point out republicans faults, especially on economic issues.

Inflation hit 9% last year (and that's bs official government numbers so we all know it was higher). Keeping spending the same is at least a 5-6% cut this year and another 4% cut next year if inflation projections are accurate.
