@javier8015 While that may be true. A pipeline does not create oil and therefore would not lower the cost to anyone except the oil companies who will save a little on shipping. (it's currently being shipped by truck and train.) Also that would mean more oil spills. Yay.

@leftfield170 They literally have thousands and thousands of permits they are not using. Also, the oil execs literally said that they are not going to increase drilling no matter what because they like doing less work and making more money.

Explain the Republicans plan to increase taxes on the bottom 50% of Americans then? And take away social security and Medicare. And what have they done to help anyone that's not rich own a home? Also, there was no vaccine mandates, and the entire point of government is to do things that the people can't do, if you call that dependence then I don't even know what to say at this point.

Not really. It's definitely not the only reason they are doing it but they donate almost entirely to republicans so of course they are going to add fuel to the fire about it being Biden's fault. And Biden has poor relations with the Saudi's as well so of course they don't want to help him by lowering prices.
