  1. Yeah I think the left has a big marketing problem. Slogans being a good example, every time the left comes up with a slogan it's easily misinterpretable which leads to the right having an easy time convincing everyone that the left is crazy. And if the protest doesn't show a clear goal or is executed in a confusing way, that doesn't lead efficiently to the desired outcome. The right always seems to go directly for their target and nobody could even possibly confuse their goal. And the rights slogans always appeal to emotion and nostalgia (even for a fictional time when everything was perfect) and are basic and can't be misinterpreted but also don't really mean anything. Like make america great again points to a made up time in which the country was great and doesn't actually mean anything specific. When was it great? When slavery existed, when women didn't have rights, when segregation existed, during all the financial crashes, during the endless oil wars? It's up to you to insert your own fantasy. And nobody can argue against making the country great.

  2. Also the media doesn't help the left so that's a huge hindrance. Don't see much mainstream reporting on any leftist issues so it takes doing something odd to get noticed and usually protests are not successful if nobody sees them. lol
