The only downside is for the politicians. People will be making more livable wages and have time to rest and pay attention to how the politicians have been screwing them over all their lives and then might vote differently or god forbid even organize to counteract the status quo of making them work harder each year for less so that it can all be giving to Elon Musk so that he can be the worlds richest bum sitting at home tweeting with catturd all day.

@Rowsy91 Why? YOu don't think people should be paid fairly for their labor then? You do realize the corporations have been stealing our wages for decades right? Wages have lagged behind inflation for over 40 years now. In the US over 40% of all jobs pay less than $16/hr. and over a third of all jobs are part time. We have continually decreased the amount of jobs that pay a livable wage and replaced them with crap jobs that don't pay enough to afford basic life necessities.

The only time corporations care about anything more than profits is when it comes to crushing workers. Jim Cramer is the perfect example, he's all about them fat cat profits but only if the workers know their place, otherwise he's willing to sacrifice a little of that stolen cash to crush the labor force. Whenever he talks about the UAW he's all scorched earth. If it's a win win for the workers and the business/shareholders he calls it "economic terrorism" and says workers need to know their place at as bottom feeders.
