  1. Gee what a surprise. Not like the corporations were literally telling us this at the time or anything. They speak outta one side of their mouth on earnings calls and brag about their new money piles, then turn around and speak outta the other side to the media and say "oh, poor us, we don't want to but we just have to raise prices cause these workers are demanding higher wages". The biggest load of nonsense for the last 3 years has been the never-ending stream of wage-price spiral talk from the fed and media and all of wall street. If wages aren't keeping up with inflation there can literally be no wage-price spiral. I mean, it doesn't exist anyways but even more nonexistent lagging inflation. If wage-price spiral existed at all then hedgefunds wouldn't be able to do leveraged buyouts and drown companies in debt while paying themselves, via loans taken out in the companies name, even more money than the company is bringing in.
