  1. Ted Cruz knows exactly what he's doing. He knows Biden is not opening the border and letting all the brown people in. But saying so is politically beneficial cause it will fool some people and help exacerbate the border issues. Republicans love fear mongering and go on every news program in the world to scream about the border being "wide open, anyone can just walk through no problem". And then people see it causing more people to show up at the border. Then we bomb their home countries or invade and enslave them for corporate gain or cause climate change causing more people to come and then it becomes true that there is a border crisis.
