Have this guy on again! I loved how much detail and history he went into, especially on the currency speculation. Often times people glaze over the specifics but he broke it down.

This is almost the exact same thing that happened in Argentina in the 70's. Along with Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, etc. They are literally voting to bring back their own destruction and death squads. It's only been 50 years since the same policies enforced by death squads! What are they thinking? "Maybe the first time was a fluke, maybe we vote for Milton Friedman and the death squads again."

Yep, and if they do eventually get back to a sane leader they will still be screwed for the next century because of all the debt they are taking from the IMF essentially making them our serfs while Milei is probably funneling a lot of that money to offshore bank accounts like the dictators did in the 70's with their IMF loans and neoliberal econ policies. We literally forced people to pay for their own torture and oppression.

Yes it has. It's called feudalism. There is no possible world where there are no rulers as it's impossible to enforce having no rulers without rulers to enforce it. Therefore it will always end in some kind of feudalism or dictatorship.

@LIROELQBREGA Stock markets are the most capitalist thing in existence. They literally birthed capitalism as we know it today. Check out the British/Dutch East India company which were some of the first joint-stock companies.
