  1. It's all about controlling the media and public opinion. Straight up authoritarian nonsense. Like in Russia and China how they release the voting/polling info that says "surprise Putin got 99.9% of the vote.... and on another note 0.1% of people fell out of window on total mass freak accident". He just sued Disney too (i think they own ABC) and they settled immediately out of fear and gave him millions of dollars. Now he's stated he's going to use that windfall to sue other media and watch the dominoes fall. Everytime he sues he get not just money but also power and tames the media.
