  1. People talking about single-payer wait times are abhorrent liars. 1. The entire premise relies on purposely denying people care so that you can be first in line. It's disgusting. 2. We already have wait times that are the same as Canada's system anyways. I live in a state on the border with Canada and used to work at a mall. Canadians would come in all the time bragging about their free care and lack of wait times for necessary surgeries. In the US, even if you have insurance, it covers the life-saving surgery and your are already admitted to the hospital cause your are dying you STILL have to wait for them to approve everything which can take days even in the more dire/urgent situations.

  2. That being said it is also abundantly clear that any issues in the Canadian and UK systems are because conservatives keep defunding the system so they can claim it's broken and then get rid of it. Same playbook they always use.
