  3. Just by definition music is about pushing boundaries and creating new things..... synonymous with progress. Conservatism, especially these days, is about not changing anything ever, especially for the better. Traditional values are the opposite of progress. New hit songs have new ideas whether they are socially, musically, or even just being bold about personal things good or bad. The only boundaries the GOP are pushing are the ones they are creating to capture us inside an authoritarian framework.
