Even if you take the whole square footage issue out of the conversation the two situations are still not similar in any way whatsoever. Jon Stewart SOLD his home for more than market value and paid taxes on the sale. Trump lied and said his property was worth 10x and took out larger loans at lower rates than he would have been able to while simultaneously saying on his tax documents that his property was only worth 0.5x. If Trump had sold his property instead of taking loans out on it that would have been fine. The right should be praising Jon Stewart as a shrewd businessman for being able to sell his property for so much over "market value", but I guess they just hate capitalism and the art of the deal!
