Old people are dumb/ignorant. They generally have a positive view of US healthcare because many of them have good union retirement plans for life. My uncle had a solid union middle class job, was able to retire in his early 50's, has a pension, social security and double healthcare for life and has basically never had to pay a healthcare bill, not rich but very working class home in a very working class neighborhood but never had to worry about getting sick or going bankrupt and so has no concept of the idea of how other people suffer or are at risk. But I think once you get to people more in the 40's and under they've usually either dealt with some insanity themselves or seen others have to and so have a much better grasp of the way things are and are heading.
